This programme of study provides an overview of the different routes, particularly in the areas of Hairdressing and Beauty, which are available at Level 3 after completion of this course. The modules on offer provide learners with basic knowledge in health and safety practices employed during beauty and hairdressing techniques and procedures. Other modules focus on an understanding of the basic scientific concepts related to all hair and beauty services and treatments, while introducing the learners to basic business concepts. The course also provides learners with quality work experience exposure where they will be expected to assist and carry out a range of assigned tasks, using approved models. Learners are required to purchase the necessary hairdressing and beauty accessories at the beginning of the academic year.

Dan il-programm ta’ studju jipprovdi lill-istudenti ħarsa ġenerali lejn il-korsijiet differenti li huma disponibbli fil-Livell 3, partikolarment fis-setturi tax-xagħar u tas-sbuħija, u li wieħed jista’ jkompli jistudja meta jlesti dan il-kors. L-unitajiet offruti jipprovdu lillistudenti b’għarfien bażiku tal-prattiċi tas-saħħa u s-sigurtà użati waqt il-proċeduri tassbuħija u l-hairdressing. Unitajiet oħra jiffokaw fuq li l-istudenti jifhmu l-kunċetti xjentifiċi bażiċi relatati mas-servizzi u t-trattamenti kollha tax-xagħar u tas-sbuħija; u jintroduċu wkoll lill-istudenti għall-kunċetti bażiċi tan-negozju. Il-kors jesponi lill-istudenti għal esperjenzi ta’ xogħol ta’ kwalità fejn ikunu mistennija jużaw mudelli approvati biex jassistu u jwettqu firxa ta’ xogħlijiet assenjati lilhom. L-istudenti huma meħtieġa jixtru l-aċċessorji neċessarji tal-hairdressing u tas-sbuħija fil-bidu tas-sena akkademika.
